Well, I did, yea, so I decided to do a small drop-by post to see all of you and send my love even if briefly. Goin’ to post my status on the current broadcast sphere while I’m at it and pretty much keep things short cuz things are hella alot busy and aside from me wanting to ramble, I’m craving something salty. *goes off to look for crackers or whatever so settles yourselves for a bit, yes?*

Btw, what is up with all these changes wordpress keeps making to the Dashboard? It’s not cool, dudes. *annoyed* -_-#

Wishing all moms a Happy Mother’s Day~!

I’ve never done this before and to be honest, I was thinking I would do more of a post for Mother’s Day had I really decided that I wanted to but I’m pressed for time (among other things) so I hope you’ll forgive me. Then again, why bother listening to me ramble on and on when you can spend time with your mum, rite? Heh.

So, I just wanted to wish all the mothers/moms/mommies/mamas/”mimi”s out there a great day and I hope ya’ll show your appreciation to the very person who gave birth to you (raised you, fed you, probably bail you out of jail you know the deal) cuz wherever would you be without her, hmm? …Well, you definitely wouldn’t be reading my posts of awesome, that’s for sure. *SHOT* |D;

And of course, this should extend to ALL the maternal figures in your life so thank those people as well.

Above pic is from Smile Precure! and I chose that over a Sanae/Nagisa/Ushio one cuz I felt Miyuki’s feelings for her mom in this week’s ep was really what made it special and stand out from the other Precure series I’ve seen so far (no one really focused on Mother’s Day before). My thoughts on SmPC aside for now, it was just nice of Toei to create an ep corresponding to the real calendar aside from Christmas and New Year’s. Plus, Miyuki’s mama is so pretty and so nice~ It just made me “URUTORA HAPPI-!” inside to see their mother-daughter moment. <3

As for me, my bro and I will be taking our mum to a BBQ restaurant. My gift’s still pending to be sent so he’s paying. Hrm, I hope it gets here okay. Heck, I hope she likes it at least. *bit troubled* /S

*sigh* Well, in any case, I LOVE YOU, MOM!! Even though you piss me off more than anybody in the world can (don’t worry, Dad follows you close in second) and we’ll probably never be compatible (cuz you’re just too you and I’m just so me, aha~), I just wanted to thank you for giving me an existence in this world and for always taking care of me. Not that you’ll ever read this but yea.

Why must QB hijack everything puella magi? Hi, lovies! Hope everyone’s having a wonderful holiday! Yaaa, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? Did anybody grow whiskers while I was away? Or raise penguins in their attic or did something weirdly beyond-the-norm awesome?

Well, I’ll spare you (as always) the torturous details (but for real, this time, I promise) because I’m simply too tired and will probably be somewhere in Atlantic City or on the drive home when you read this. Heck, I’m about to fall asleep as I’m typing this now. I hope I get breakfast tomorrow morning cuz my dad’s got this crazy idea to go for 2-hr practice before the Y closes so he can come home and watch football. *rolls eyes*

Yes, that’s all the irrelevant rambling for now this will always be a lie, you are not allowed to believe it. Aside from the fact that my feet are freezing cuz we suddenly decided to remodel our entire house two weeks ago and I’m sleeping in the basement, let’s move along…

And since I am alive and…well, tired, you would know that I managed to save at least one of my hands or at least one of my toes. :P

School’s started again, peeps. August went by too fast and I still haven’t got my driver’s license. I’m reviewing like heck for all my Spanish classes (mis profesoras me vuelvan loca!) among other things. That’s all I can really give you.

Hey, hey!

The prelims for SaiMoe have recently finished so I gathered up all the names of the girls I want to support and pimped them all here in one post! x3

Unfortunately, for some strange reason, I can’t generate a voting code from my IP address at home and I don’t know how to work around that. So if anyone is willing to help me with this problem (and explain to me why the code will last for only 24 hours or whatever rules they changed), I’d be grateful. Otherwise, I’ll be sitting on the sidelines this time which is alright, I guess, cuz I never believe my vote counts for anything when it involves some kind of proxy.

Anyways, same format as last year’s post. I go through my list by series first (least to most expected/want to win) and then end with my Top 8 picks. As usual, not all the girls I liked or considered moe-worthy in my eyes are on this list. That include ones that participated in the tournament beyond the point of moe saturation, ones from anime that were in the tournament last and previous years (I mainly support newcomers) and ones from anime I didn’t enjoy as much as I did the character and so on. Which brings me to the same thing I said last year: All things under this list are subject to MY opinion so if you have a problem with that, you will receive the finger along with a pie in the face as a blunt reply.

Summer WonFes 2011







Holy shit, Y SO MUCH AWESOME STUFF, HUH?! WHYWHYWHY?!?!?!? I can’t possibly catch up on my wishlist now! *wails in huge despair* Dx

…well, WonFes Summer really brings in a lot of new merchandise that’s hard to resist. Actually, it should be renamed WonFes PMMM cuz THERE IS SOOOOOO MUCH MADOKA STUFF AND BEING THE CRAZY FAN I AM, I JUST WANT EVERYTHING!!!! WHY AM I TYPING IN CAPS?!

*cough* Anyways, I apologize for not finding better quality pics but I have quantity to make up for that or just lot of Puella Magi obsession but that’s really not my fault! …yea, afraid you won’t find a lot variety in this post cuz I just pick the ones I like and they’re mostly PMMM so it really is my fault and now I’m rambling so shoot me.

I also don’t remember every manufacturer behind each figure but I’ll try to. Usually, I mostly cover the big names. GSC, Alter, etc, so they shouldn’t be too hard to find. And you can always go to Tsuki-board to go find what you’re interested in. :)

Typing this from the computer lab in the dorm in Hong Kong. It’s too friggin’ hot outside to want to go anywhere and I had plans tonight, too, but I’m merging them up with Saturday’s instead to go run later and work off that salad that’s not really a salad. *sigh*

Winter WonFes 2011







Trying to keep up with nine other live coverages and update my wishlist at the same time while tsuki-board’s server was overflooded drove me absolutely INSANE. Dx

*sigh* But the nightmare is over. I’m still way behind on my hwk and had to take the f*ckin’ train out to NY at 7 AM and didn’t wash my hair so I was feeling really crappy and cranky and shitty in the morning, BUT! …the worst is over.

Now I just have to try and get this most of this post done before going out tonight. Ahah~, I’m so screwed. *facedesk*

…Oh, and for anyone who’s curious on what WonFes is, it’s an bi-annual event where new figures that will be released later in the year are shown, garage kits are sold and stuff like that. Look it up. *too lazy to explain*
