Took me an hour or two to finish this up but wow, this was some quarterfinal alright. Makes me glad that I used this voting procedure. But nevermind that for now.




SoMT Quarterfinals, Round 5

First of all, GOMEN NASAI! >.< I'm very sorry for the delay! Had a lot of things to do over the past week so I couldn't come on to do anything. I'll have to make a brief catch-up post when I can to see how much I can time I can squeeze into my schedule for anything blog-related. It's not going to be a lot since I'm so dead tired when I come home from school but I'll figure something out. Again, sorry for the delay, minna-san! *bows a hundred times*

Ah, and sorry for not much of an opener for this round. Still kinda worn out and have class in less than an hour. I f*ckin’ hate Logic! D8< But yay, I finally have this up and last chance for anyone see-sawing on the edge of wins and losses to pull themselves into the semi-finals.

Just woke up from a pretty long nap after dinner but oh god, NYAF was so fun! I can’t wait to go back next year and I hope they’ll bring more awesome guests! xD

lol Well, too late for me to do anything now (lucky thing I have the day off tomorrow cuz of Jewish holiday) so I’ll just give a brief list of what I’ll try to do this week:

SC! catchup post – The last few ones only. Yea, yea, I know you’re all disappointed and boohoo, what else is there to say other than that. Pfft, whatever. Get over it if you still haven’t. *rolls eyes*
I’m going to approach this post a little differently though and probably the same with the third season if I have enough energy and interest to really say anything. Does this mean regular blogging resuming? Haha…no.

NYAF: Gawd, this will be long…and good…and long…yea, will try to get it up by the weekend. :D

SoMT: 4th round should be up sometime this week.

RAWs: Postponed/halted until further notice…actually, you definitely won’t be finding them on here anymore (all the hits I got from the MangaFox forums annoyed the hell outta me) but I still can upload them given I have the time and mindset to do so. Of course, there will be new (more strict, heh) rules…and yea, don’t spam me please. I mean it. Someone delete that link from that Watashi ni XX Shinasai! thread or I’ll ban that site and make the downloads private for approved visiters. That’s the new policy. Don’t like it? Don’t mean to be a bitch but too bad.

Yea, those are the four main things I wanted to make note of. Ah, and I’ll get around to catching up on other blogs later. Gotta clean up my room and do hwk before then so ttyl! ;D

Yes, I know it’s a week early but as of next Wednesday, it’s going be two years since TTGL, the anime, ended aka the final episode where two of my all-time biggest favorites (oh god, I’m using “favorites” so you know it’s serious) got married~!!! <333 …And then made my heart cry a thousand Niagra Falls for what happened a minute after.

Damn, I love this pairing so much that I’m still finding it hard to accept the ending…which I did and probably won’t ever…but I like the ending…but…yea…oh god, now I want to watch it just to cry again. TT_________TT

*cough* Eh, before I really get into full rambling LOVE mode, yea, what an odd way to do a post, huh? Well, I figure if fanboys can have their waifus, AMV makers their pelvic thrusts, and the rest of you with your oddities, then I think it’s just DAMN right I make a post and banner (which everything but the fading text is all credit to YoruAngel866) to commemorate the strongest OTP in my pairing cache!

Aaaannnndddd…here’s the third round. :D

A big thanks again to everyone who voted in the second round. Woot! Lots of good matches there, imo.

On the results chart, I’ve decided to hold it off until after the quarterfinals are over. I apologize to those who want to see them as soon as possible but for one thing, it would just be easier for me to do them all at once than to constantly go back and add stuff. I would find a quicker way of doing it but I’m also pretty preoccupied with school and don’t always have a laptop or editing program immediately ready at my fingertips. ^^;
Second, I think it adds to the suspense (I’m honest when I say I really can’t predict the approximate outcome even with the results in front of me) and third, I’m a lazy pig, everyone knows that |D; it seems better to me to make choices when you’re not influenced by outside factors. I dunno, just more exciting that way.

…If you’re wondering if I’m doing this as some sort of tendency-analysis experiment, then yes, I am guilty of doing just that but it’s irrelevant so don’t mind it at all, k? :)

Hey, hey. Here with Round 2! Told ya I was moving fast, didn’t I? ;D

Sorry to say that I don’t have the results for Round 1 yet. I’ll probably compile them today and post it up this weekend or so. I’m incredibly pleased with how things turned out, though, so another big thanks to all you voters out there! ^^

SoMT Quarterfinals, Round 1

OMG, WHOOOO~~!!! My first animated file EVAR! XD

God, saving this took longer than it did to save my first AMV so I just dropped the fancy special effects I wanted. Plus, the file seemed to be getting too big anyway. *sigh~* Wish I had a better program. -_-;
And I’m sorry if you can’t see the text since it’s bright pink but you have the images so it shouldn’t matter~ :D

I know you’ve all been waiting so I’ll just cut back on the details. Sakura is awesome, optimization sucks (this is why it’s so grainy-instead-of-smooth looking *pissed* D:<), that thing (OMGLOOK! It changes pictures! *stupid* 8DDD) is supposed to be a mirror because we have now entered the moe goddess’s domain and mirrors are symbolic in Japan. Yeayeayea. I want a nice awesome mirror full of moe, too. \P

My opinion on best ones:

1st – Amu and Rima (They fit the frame best in their own ways. Rima for the close-up and Amu for being perfect center. :D)
2nd – Utau (Love the contrast of dark against light (like inside and out the mirror xD; ) and that outfit me wants. >3< Plus that was a nice screenshot from the pilot film. :3)
3rd – Em…EVERYONE! 8D

Ah, it's really hard to find a good pic AND have it look good framed in something. Everyone turned out okay but like the wildcards, not all are meant to look absolutely perfect. Some are just lucky enough to look stunning. Hee~
